TurtleSpot started its business at the end of 2005 on the island Koh Tao, located in the Gulf of Thailand. Internet services are provided in Mae Haad and Sairee. In these areas, internet is available through Wifi, ADSL and G.SHDSL.

Fast wireless internet connectivity is available in several tourist areas. Access to the internet is available with prepaid cards, which can be bought at several retailer locations on the island. Places like Zest, Fizz and Cafe Corner provide internet access free of charge for customers.
