Internet - an obvious part of life these days. At home, at your office and now, in your resort. TurtleSpot aims at providing wireless network coverage throughout all resorts. The idea is simple: anywhere in any resort, just turn on your laptop, connect to our network and surf the internet!

TurtleSpot uses the 802.11b and 802.11g technology. This simply means that you can access the network with the most common WiFi network cards at speeds up to 54Mbps. The only hardware required: a WiFi network card. Most modern laptops have built-in cards, if not these WiFi cards are available in SD, CF, USB, PCMCIA and PCI versions, allowing any type of computer to connect to a wireless network.
When you're running WindowsXP with servicepack 2 or higher, your computer will automatically detect the network and allows you to connect to it.

Usage of our network is not limited to a single location like your resort. Once signed up for internet, you can access the internet in any covered area. Any resort, any town, anywhere.

When you do your banking business online, you'll probably trust your own computer over one in an internet cafe. The same goes for online creditcard transactions. But, like in any wireless network, radio waves travel through the air and can be picked up. Always make sure you use SSL encrypted connections for sensitive data.
